I Wanna Hold Your Hand

Sorry for the lack of updates for the past couple of days…if you happen to be one of the people who follows me on Twitter you might have caught an occasional sigh or snarky tweet during that time, but that’s about all the time I’ve had available. We’ve been cleaning the house like crazy to get ready for the in-laws’ visit, which should be commencing any moment now, leaving me frantic to make sure I get at least a little bit of a post up before I run out of time.

Tomorrow begins a new week, and a new pattern for me. My wife and I have both been out of work for a little while, but she’s going back tomorrow and I will have the apartment to myself for 5-6 hours a day.

In the words of Chef, “It’s on.”

Writing will happen when I make it happen. So this week I will be posting at least once a day, on a variety of topics, and writing nonstop in the meantime. Make that almost nonstop - I still need to spend at least an hour a day trying to learn something about the inner workings of WordPress. :)

Are any other would-be web writers out there reading this? If so, what path are you taking? For those who make their living this way, where did you start? What do you know now that you wish you knew when you were starting out? Discuss in the comments.

I’m taking the advice of Ellen Goldstein here - mutual support is an indispensable resource for all of us.
